of-course if you've rooted your phone you probably already had 2.1 in a rom that increased the droid's performance dramatically... but it's good to see verizon lived up to it's promise to release their OTA.

Droid didn't come with motoblur, its interface was stock android 2.0.

I've been holding off for the Nexus One to be available on Verizon, but if the iPhone shows up there before LogMeIn Ignition is ported to Android, I'll have no choice but to go with the iPhone (or an iSlate, if it will run Ignition and make phone calls like an iPhone). If Ignition gets ported first, then I'll have a difficult decision to make.
